Program
Day 1. Getting to know
This is wonderful arriving at the map of Portugal. As if time has stood still here, you automatically become calm. We immediately start working on your vitality wheel. Where are you, what is your baseline measurement in this area? And we go a step further, you also start working with your nutrition wheel. All this happens in a magical way and at the same time very practical. After a delicious dinner, we close the day at the campfire.Â
Day 2. Rhythm of nature
This day we start out special. To the rhythm of the drums, wake up your body and mind. After breakfast we will explore the surroundings where we will experience the nature of Portugal in different ways. For this, good walking shoes are essential. After a long day outdoors, it is wonderful in the evening at the campfire to share stories.Â
Day 3. Apply flow practically
We go one step further on our exploration of the rhythms of nature, the walking shoes are going back on. This day is all about your own rhythm. After gaining these insights, we will make a plan on how to apply this in daily life. We do this already that evening by experiencing how we can easily cook intuitively.Â
Day 4. Settle
Over the past few days, seeds have been planted for further development, and what can we already firmly harvest? How can you anchor this in your daily life. On this day you will learn to trust your true nature more. This day we go with the flow of the countryside and enjoy what the farm has to offer.Â
Day 5. It's done!
Today we are getting ready for departure. Wake up quietly and enjoy the rising sun one more time led by a beautiful drum meditation. Then a delicious breakfast will be waiting for you and we will conclude the past days. You return home with a backpack full of experience.
As the operations manager of a large team, I see daily how people get stuck in habits. "We do it this way because we've always done it this way," I hear over and over again. That frustrates me. I want change, movement. But how do you break through that autopilot?
As a partner in a consulting firm, my work is all about growth. More revenue, more clients, more impact. But while I'm always keen on that, I noticed that sometimes my team didn't have the same speed. They were working hard, but it felt like they were mostly executing what we, the partners, came up with. Pro-activity was a bit on the low side.
As an entrepreneur, I am used to steering my own course. I make my choices based on experience, knowledge and intuition. That has brought me far, but somewhere I felt that something more was possible. When I came across the trip to New Zealand with Blue Lantern, the combination of physical challenge and time for reflection especially attracted me.
I knew something had to change. My days were filled with calling, arranging, pulling on everything and everyone and moving on. My business was running fine, my team was doing its job, yet it felt like everything was resting on me. I was tired. Not just physically, but mostly mentally. I felt like I couldn't let go of control, that everything depended on me.
